The following notes provide a simple overview of what happens to your personal data when you visit our website. In addition, we inform you about how we handle personal data from business partners, interested parties, and applicants. Personal data is any data that can personally identify you. Who is responsible for data collection on this website?
The controller is the company that determines the purposes and means of processing personal data, such as names and email addresses. Data processing on the klaricore websites and the klaricore partner portal is carried out by:

How do we collect your data?
Firstly, your data is collected when you provide it to us. This happens when you enter information into a contact form, register for the klaricore partner portal or register a deal as a partner, for example. Other data is collected automatically by our IT systems when you visit our websites. This is mainly technical data, such as the browser and operating system used, or the time of access. This data is collected as soon as you access our pages. More Information you can find In the Statement below.
What do we use your data for?
Some of the data is collected to ensure the websites and the partner portal are provided securely and without errors. Other data may be used to analyse user behaviour, helping us to improve our content and services. If you are a business partner, we will use additional information to manage our relationship with you, as well as to handle opportunities and deals.
What rights do you have regarding your data?
At any time, you have the right to request free of charge information about the origin, recipient and purpose of your stored personal data. You also have the right to request the correction or deletion of this data, and under certain circumstances, to request that processing be restricted. You can object to processing based on legitimate interests. If you have given consent, you can withdraw it at any time for the future. For this purpose, you can contact us at any time using the contact details in the imprint or in section 3.
In addition, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the relevant supervisory authority.
Analysis Tools and Third-Party Tools
When you visit the klaricore websites or the partner portal, your browsing behaviour may be analysed for statistical purposes. This is mainly done using cookies and analytics tools. This analysis is usually pseudonymous or anonymous, meaning your browsing behaviour cannot normally be traced directly back to you. You can object to or prevent this analysis by not giving consent to non-essential cookies in the cookie banner, and by using the relevant opt-out options. 2. General information
As the operator of the klaricore web pages and the klaricore partner portal, amasol GmbH takes the protection of your personal data very seriously. We handle your personal data confidentially and in accordance with the relevant data protection legislation, particularly the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the German Federal Data Protection Act (BDSG).
This privacy policy explains what data we collect, how we process it, and the legal basis for doing so. It also describes the rights you have in relation to your data.
Please note that transmitting data on the internet (e.g. communicating by email) can have security gaps. It is not possible to provide complete protection of data against access by third parties.

5. Your rights
Regarding your personal data, you have the following rights against the controller:
The right to withdraw consent to data processing
If processing is based on your consent, you can withdraw it at any time. Simply email us to do so. This does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before the consent was withdrawn.
Right to Data Portability
You have the right to receive any data that we process automatically based on your consent or for the performance of a contract, and to transmit this data to another controller in a commonly used, machinereadable format. Where technically feasible, you may request that we transmit the data directly to another controller.
Right of access, rectification, restriction and erasure:
If we breach data protection law, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the relevant supervisory authority. This authority is, for example, the data protection authority of the federal state in which our company is established. A list of supervisory authorities and their contact details is available on the website of the German Federal Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information.
Right to object to processing based on legitimate interests:
Where the processing of your personal data is based on Art. 6(1)(f) of the GDPR (legitimate interests), you have the right to object, on grounds relating to your particular situation, to the processing at any time. If you do so, we will no longer process your personal data, unless we can demonstrate compelling legitimate grounds for the processing that override your interests, rights and freedoms, or unless the processing is necessary for the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims.
6. Note on SSL or TLS encryption
For security reasons and to protect confidential content, such as enquiries or login data, that you send to us, the site operator, our pages use SSL/TLS encryption. You can recognise an encrypted connection by the address line in your browser changing from ‘http://’ to ‘https://’ and by the lock symbol appearing in the bar. Once SSL/TLS encryption is activated, third parties cannot normally read the data you transmit to us.

Cookies
Our websites use cookies. These are small text files that are stored on your device. We use both session cookies, which are deleted when you close your browser, and persistent cookies, which remain stored on your device for a set period or until you delete them.
Cookies have various functions. Some cookies are essential for the operation of the websites and partner portal (for example, to remember your login session). Other cookies analyse usage and help us to improve our offering. Data processing based on cookies takes place either on the basis of your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), or for technically necessary cookies, on the basis of our legitimate interest in providing a technically optimised, userfriendly website and partner portal (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) and § 25(2) TTDSG.

Use of CookieYes on our website
We use the CookieYes service, provided by CookieYes Limited (3 Warren Yard, Milton Keynes, MK12 5NW, United Kingdom), to manage cookie consents. CookieYes displays the cookie banner and records your choices, storing them in a consent cookie to ensure your settings are applied on future visits.
CookieYes processes personal data (such as your IP address and consent status) solely for the purpose of providing its consent management solution. According to the provider, no personal data is transferred to third countries when using this service.

Server log files
Our website and partner portal provider (Host Europe) automatically collects and stores information in server log files that your browser automatically transmits to us. This includes, in particular:
• Browser type and version
• Operating system used
• Referrer URL
• Hostname of the accessing computer
• Time of the server request
• IP address
This data is not merged with data from other sources.
The legal basis for processing is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. We have a legitimate interest in ensuring that our websites and the partner portal are technically error-free, secure and optimised.
Contacting us / Contact form
You can contact us via the contact form on the klaricore partner portal. When you do so, we will process the following data:
- first and last name
- business email address
- company name
- your message and any other information you voluntarily provide in the message field
We will use this data solely for the purpose of processing and responding to your enquiry. If your enquiry relates to an existing partner agreement or to steps prior to entering into a contract, the legal basis for processing is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR. For all other enquiries, the legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (our legitimate interest in responding to communications directed at us).
We will store your contact data for as long as necessary to process your enquiry and for a reasonable period thereafter in case follow-up questions arise. Where statutory retention periods apply or where we need the data for the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims, data will be retained for the duration of the applicable period.
8. Analytics Tools and Advertising
Elementor
We use the ‘Elementor’ page builder plugin, provided by Elementor Ltd., 40 Tuval Street, Ramat Gan, 5126112, Israel, to design and structure the klaricore pages.
Elementor runs on our own servers within the WordPress system. In our configuration, no personal data is transmitted to Elementor Ltd. The tool processes content server-side (e.g. HTML, CSS and JavaScript components) to render the pages. We do not use Elementor for additional tracking.
WordPress
The klaricore websites and the partner portal are based on WordPress, a content management system developed by Automattic Inc., 60 29th Street #343, San Francisco, CA 94110, USA.
WordPress is open-source software that we operate on our own or hosted servers. This software enables us to create and manage content. Technically necessary data (such as IP addresses when submitting forms or logging in, timestamps, and browser information) is processed and stored in our database.
We do not use any other Automattic services (e.g. Jetpack or Gravatar) for the Website. In the unlikely event that data is transferred to the USA, this is based on the applicable safeguards under EU data protection law. Further information can be found in Automattic’s privacy policy.

When you visit our websites, the information described under ‘Server log files’ is collected and stored on our hosting provider’s servers. In addition, the hosting provider may process data such as contact requests, contact details, names, access data, meta and communication data, and contract data on our behalf. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (our legitimate interest in ensuring the security and reliability of the hosting environment), and where access to the portal relates to the initiation or performance of a contract, Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR. We have concluded a data processing agreement with Host Europe in accordance with Art. 28 GDPR.
Matomo (self-hosted web analytics)
We use Matomo, an open-source web analytics platform, to analyse user behaviour on the klaricore websites and partner portal in a privacy-friendly manner. Matomo is operated on our own servers or on those of our EU-based hosting provider, no personal data is transmitted to third-party servers for this purpose. Depending on the configuration and your consent, the following data may be processed:
- anonymised IP address (truncated)
- visited pages and time spent on them
- technical information, such as browser type, operating system, and screen resolution.
- referrer URL (the page from which you accessed our site)
- eevents (clicks, downloads, etc.).
Matomo uses cookies (such as “_pk_id” and “_pk_ses”) to recognise returning visitors and link actions to one session. We configure Matomo with IP anonymisation and limited retention periods. If analytics cookies are used, processing is generally based on your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR, § 25(1) TTDSG). In particularly privacy-friendly setups without cookies, processing may also be based on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in analysing usage), provided this is in line with regulatory guidance.
You can prevent Matomo from collecting your data by rejecting analytics cookies in the cookie banner or by adjusting your cookie settings later.
Lead Forensics
For klaricore pages, we may optionally use the B2B analytics tool Lead Forensics, provided by Lead Forensics Group Ltd. Lead Forensics helps us identify which companies have visited our site and assess potential business interest.
The tool may collect information such as IP address, browser type, operating system, referrer URLs and access times. Based on this information, company-level profiles can be created. Lead Forensics may also use its own cookies (e.g. “_lfuuid”) to recognise returning visits from the same device.
Because this form of tracking can be considered intrusive, we only use Lead Forensics if we have your explicit consent via the cookie banner. The legal basis is then Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR and § 25(1) TTDSG. You can withdraw your consent at any time via the cookie settings.
If Lead Forensics is used, data may be transferred to servers outside the EU/EEA. In this case, appropriate safeguards (such as standard contractual clauses) are applied by the provider. More detailed information can be found in Lead Forensics’ own privacy documentation.
WP Rocket
We use WP Rocket, a performance optimisation plugin, on the klaricore partner portal. WP Rocket stores cached versions of pages to improve loading times. We have configured WP Rocket so that logged-in areas and pages containing personal content (particularly the partner portal) are not cached. WP Rocket itself does not place cookies on users’ devices for klaricore; it only processes data to improve performance on our servers. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in maintaining a fast and stable website).
Yoast SEO
We use the ‘Yoast SEO’ plugin, provided by Yoast BV (Don Emanuelstraat 3, 6602 GX Wijchen, The Netherlands), to help optimise the klaricore pages for search engines. This includes managing meta titles and descriptions, generating XML sitemaps, and adding structured data.
Yoast SEO runs entirely within our WordPress installation. In our configuration, no personal data is transmitted to Yoast BV for klaricore. The plugin processes metadata about our pages and posts (such as titles, descriptions, focus keywords, and schema information) and stores this information in our WordPress database.
When search engines access the XML sitemaps generated by Yoast SEO, they receive URLs and related metadata about our pages. If personal data is contained in page content (for example, if a person is named in an article), it may be indirectly included in such metadata, as is generally the case when websites are crawled and indexed by search engines.
The use of Yoast SEO is based on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest is to ensure that our online offering is easily discoverable and presented correctly and in a user-friendly way in search results. Access to the WordPress backend and Yoast SEO settings is restricted to authorised users, and we implement regular updates to maintain security and functionality.
CloudFlare
We use the service on our website CloudFlare. The provider of the service is the Cloudflare Germany GmbH, Rosental 7, 80331München, Germany.
The use of the service may result in data transfer to a third country (USA). The provider is certified according to the EU-U.S. DataPrivacy Framework and therefore offers an appropriate level of data protection.

9. Registration on the website / Using the partner portal
In order to use additional functions, such as access to enablement materials, using the klaricore Application, registration of deals and access to restricted content, you can register on the klaricore partner portal. During registration, we will process the following data in particular:
- first and last name
- business email address
- business phone number (optional).
- company name and address.
- country
- Role or function
We will use this data solely for the purpose of creating and managing your account, granting you access to the portal and providing services to partners, in order to fulfil the partner agreement. All mandatory information must be provided in full during registration; otherwise, we will not be able to grant access. We also log important changes to the account and portal usage (e.g. login time and accessed pages) to ensure security, detect misuse and improve the service.
The legal basis for processing is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (performance of a contract or steps prior to entering into a contract) and Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in the secure and efficient operation of the partner portal). Data collected during registration is stored for as long as you have a partner account, and for longer where statutory retention periods apply or where we need the data for the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims.
10. Social Media presence
We use social networks to strengthen our online presence and communicate with interested parties, customers, and partners regarding klaricore and other amasol offerings. When you visit our profiles on these platforms, the respective platform operators may process your personal data, particularly data on your usage behaviour, for their own purposes (such as advertising or analysis).
We have no control over the type or scope of data processing by these providers. When you visit our profiles, we may be jointly responsible with the relevant provider for certain processing activities.
Presence on LinkedIn
We have a LinkedIn profile.
The provider is LinkedIn Ireland Unlimited Company, located at Wilton Plaza, Wilton Place, Dublin 2, Ireland. LinkedIn uses cookies and other technologies to analyse usage and display personalised advertising. 11. Newsletter
If you subscribe to a klaricore or other amasol newsletter via our website, we will ask you for your email address and other information that allows us to verify your identity and confirm your agreement to receive the newsletter. Additional data is collected only on a voluntary basis.
We will only use this data to send you the newsletter you requested and will not pass it on to third parties for their own purposes.
The processing of the data entered in the newsletter sign-up form is based on your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). You can withdraw your consent at any time, for example by clicking the ‘unsubscribe’ link in each newsletter or by contacting us directly at marketing@amasol.com. The lawfulness of any processing already carried out remains unaffected by the withdrawal.
We use the CleverReach service (CleverReach GmbH & Co. KG, Mühlenstr. 43, 26180 Rastede, Germany) to send newsletters. The data that you provide for the purpose of receiving the newsletter is stored on CleverReach servers in Germany or Ireland. CleverReach allows us to analyse newsletter campaigns, for example whether a newsletter was opened and which links were clicked. You can find more details in CleverReach’s privacy information.
12. Application data
If you apply to amasol, for example via our careers pages or by email, we will process your personal data as part of the application process. This includes the following in particular:
- first and last name
- contact details (address, email address and phone number)
- application documents (cover letter, CV, certificates and references)
- information on your professional career, qualifications and skills
- your earliest possible starting date and desired salary (if provided)
Processing is based on Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (pre-contractual measures) and, where applicable, national employment law provisions. If no employment relationship results from your application, we will store your data for up to six months after the end of the application process, in order to respond to any queries and fulfil legal obligations (e.g. under the German General Equal Treatment Act). After that, the data is deleted or securely destroyed.
If you consent to being included in a talent pool, allowing us to contact you about future opportunities, this processing is based on your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR) as well.
13. Tools
Wordfence (Defiant)
We use the Wordfence security solution, a service of Defiant Inc., to secure the klaricore websites and the partner portal. Defiant Inc. is located at 800 5th Ave Ste 4100, Seattle, WA 98104, USA. Wordfence helps to protect our pages against attacks, unauthorised login attempts, malware, and other security threats. In this context, the following data may be processed in particular:
- IP addresses of visitors
- requested URLs and access times
- browser information and referrer URLs
- failed login attempts and suspicious activities.
This data may be transmitted to Defiant’s servers in the USA for comparison with real-time blacklists and threat detection. Defiant either participates in the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework or uses equivalent safeguards to ensure an adequate level of protection. The legal basis for this processing is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest is to protect our websites and IT systems against attacks and misuse.
14. Changes to the Privacy Policy
We regularly review this privacy information to determine whether it needs to be updated or supplemented. This may be due to changes in our services, legal requirements, or the introduction of new tools, for example. The current version of the Privacy Policy applies to the klaricore web pages and partner portal and came into effect in June/July 2026. Any future updates will be published on our websites.
